Pretty Damn Happy Ending

Ok, it is official. No, no. Anwar's not been sentenced for liwat.

I am migrating. Not physically tho' I do wish so - ah.. Paris would be really nice. Ok, I digress. I have moved the blog to www.eleventhshot.com

I am pretty sure a lot of you have visited the link above and after much thought, I have decided to switch it around and made my photog work the centre of attention - I was told by a lot of people I need to FOCUS :P

On this page, you can access to my work and also my blog. With that in mind, there will be more works to be done - I'm really reminding myself hehe. Thank you sooo very  much for all your (continuous) support over the years and I am happy to say I am not discontinuing my blog - I was contemplating of writing if off from the long list of things I am involved at recently, you know (see above on the topic of FOCUS).  But, I am happy to say, I did not.

Have a great week ahead!

xoxo

Say No Right

Ever wished that what you have said to a person came out completely not what you have intended it to be?

Ms Neighbour just got off the company's van and on both of her hands she had her luggages with her. The turquoise kebaya seemingly indicated that she works for a certain local airline.

Ms Neighbour: "Thank you!"

"No problem," I said as soon as she got into the lift. "Which flo..?"

"20th, please," she said rather quickly before I could finish my question. And, she said that with a smile. You know when a person says something with a smile or a scorn; you just know it, no?

"Nice bag you have there."

"Thanks. I've got it from Bangkok (and used to sell them, too)."

"Oh ok," again she said that with a smile.

"I miss Bangkok," I told her rather unusually friendly of me. I reckon I am friendly when the other person is extremely friendly. It's an indication that I open up easily if you are just the same :)

"Yeah? Where do you shop in Bangkok mostly?" she asked.

"Chatuchak ... erm, the usual places, you know."

"Yeah. Chatuchak is nice. The currency is still very strong, too."

"Yes, it is. Bangkok is a lot of fun." I told her with a smile, too.

"I know. My boyfriend is Thai."

I didn't see that coming but she is very friendly. If she had flew across the globe and worked non-stop for the last 12 hours, I really respect her for being so bubbly and manages to continue to be so good at what she does - be friendly.

"Oh really?"

Ting. It was my floor and before I exited, I had said, "Good luck!" with a smile, of cos. Then, as the door closed, it occurred to me.

Good luck? GOOD LUCK? w.t.f. I wished I could have a tad more time with her so I could apologise because I don't mean it as a bad thing. I don't even know why I'd say that!

ps: The moral of the story? Hmm, think before you speak? *shrug* I know it feels really good to be friendly :)

An Arse for a Face

"C3A?" asked a tall lanky guy as soon as Jon walked into the badminton court.

Jon was stumped but explained that they are not the resident. A rather stouty, piggy looking friend of Mr. Lanky intervened.

"If you are not the resident, you are not allowed to play and we have booked two courts, " demanded Mr. Piggy to Jon and Karen. Flabbergasted but undaunted, Karen explained to Mr. Piggy that my friend is a resident and he had already booked the court from 4pm to 6pm. Of cos, without the booking slip, their argument was unsubstantiated. Frustrated but undefeated, my friends walked out of the court and waited for me - I was a tad late you see. As I arrived, I saw their "long faces" and I thought to myself, "Was I late?"

But, Jon asked, "Where is the booking slip?" Absent-minded me hadn't brought the slip with me but left it in my car. I dashed to my car and back and when I got back, they shared the story with me what happened earlier. Phew... and I thought cos I was late.

So, when I was back with the slip, I'd walked straight to the hall and shoved  shown it to an uncle looking 50ish but older.

With a slight cockiness, he said, "Sure can play. Got book can play." All the while, my friends were still mad at Piggy face for being such an arse and lied about booking two courts just so their group of 8 people (or more?) could use the court that we had booked. We started warming up but really reeling mad with Piggy the bully.

Why do people have to be such an arse? I mean, do they not seriously look at the mirror first before they talk? To make things worse, aside from his face, he lied about booking two courts and hoping that with his aggression he could fool my friends. Mr. Piggy was clearly using his arse talking that day (or most days). What a *MOF SOB.

*MOF SOB = motherfking son of a bitch PIG

Eternal Non-Sunshine of the Whacked Mind

Quick note
The marathon yesterday was erm, in my own words, slackish. Of the 5 marathons I did this year ( I was wrong before - prev. post), this had got to be the slackiest run I've done. I walked for a good 10 minutes or so. However, IF my timing was accurate (I hadnt a watch with me yesterday), I managed to complete it within 1 hour or 1 hour 10 mins. The organiser did not predict that the total no. of male runners exceed female and had us testorone almost breathless, hearts still palpitating and muscles beginning to sore queue for our ... I don't even remember what it was for. The queue was just a little unprecendented and the record time of our arrival is definitely screwed. But, we had a good breakfast whichr eally was the best part ;)

........................................

Where I work, it is inevitable to see the people who work around you because it is afterall retail. And, where I work, it is also inevitable to see HOW people work and HOW people behave.

This morning, I have finally decided to jot down the list of songs that my "funny" neighbour likes to blast off in the morning after the mall is opened - for a good 10 - 15 minutes, and a good same amount of time (sometime more *eyes rolling*), before the mall closes.

Everyday. Without. Fail.

So, the list of songs that he would always play:

  1. Eternal Flames - variation; could be by The Bangles or some disbanded Boy Band from Europe
  2. I will Survive - the original
  3. Superwoman - again, a variation of either Karen Whites or Gary Chaw
  4. Nothing Compares 2u - the original by Sinead O' Connor
  5. I feel Good - James Brown
  6. You're Beautiful - James Blunt
  7. Sappy Chinese songs circa 1980s and 1990s ... sometimes, 1960s; the late Theresa Teng will be proud and my ma will love him, but, gosh, that is entirely a different story.
  8. God knows what else!
If I could analyse the list of songs he plays, see above, I think this person who can be quite friendly across to where I work is ...
  • Sentimental.
  • Sappy.
  • Emo ahem, Queen
  • Dramatic
  • Loves Attention (clue: the loud music)
  • Gentle (clue: mostly female singers)
I feel, too, you can sort of make a story out of the songs he constantly plays. He could be emotionally unhappy about his last relationship. See, Eternal Flames and Nothing compares to you followed by I will survive? That says a lot, no? I dont wanna know if I'm his colleagues and how it would be like. I know every morning (or evening), I am being tortured with sappy music of a heartbroken man.

PS: I am sorry if you happened to like some of the songs above and I have inadvertently categorised you as above (bullet list part two). But, that is ... ;)

That Beachy Look

I have signed up for the Mizuno run at Padang Merbok this Sunday almost 2 months ago, I think. The thought of running another 10km didn't really give me sweaty palms nor a nervous breakdown because this will be my ... KLIM, New Balance, Adidas ... fourth run and perhaps, the final run for this year (if that made me sound like a boastful prick, please forgive me. I am not boasting, really. In fact, I think this is like my 1st ever post on marathon for 2008, the year I ran the most in my entire life LOL).

Running up (sic) to the actual run this Sunday, your thought must be that I am prepared and have trained really well for this run, yes? Quite truthfully, I haven't been training if it means several outdoor run a week and working on my leg muscles. What I have been focusing more is AHEM, my upper body muscles because AHEM, going for a beach holiday early next month.

Ok, shoot me for being a vainpot LOL. I thought if I set a goal to achieve that beach body that I have oh so unashamedly shared with my frens (I'm quite sure they've got sick of listening to me talking about getting a beach body), I may just get a beach body. After all, I read somewhere it is the secret - but, I strongly doubt if I ever get my 6-pack abs since I haven't exactly stopped myself from my char kway teows, roti canai and oh so delish fried chicken. How ironic, eh?

Back to achieving that beach body ....

This? I am not so sure :p

This maybe achieavable.

And no, I am not planning to dress like a Gisele Bundchen drag on the beach. I thought these pics are awesome and hope to capture some, too.

As for achieving that beach body, I might just end up looking slighly bulky LOL (I cant wait for my beach hols, tho)

As Easy as A, B, C?

It sure had been a long week last week cos suddenly, or rather unexpectedly, my hands are full with so much to do. In fact, I made a mental note to write 'em all down this morning i.e. to-do list or a check list. Alas, that never happened. Mental note, digital note doesnt work for me. Post-it, and mobile phone task reminder do. (That was why I had almost missed a very important appointment coming up this week.)

Almost.

So I reckon I have a problem. I have a problem and I am not addressing it. I do prioritise my work a lot - mentally. When I have to start executing them, I tend to divert my attention to something else although at the back of my head, I know I have to finish say, subject A, followed by B and C. No, not in order. Instead, I could go E, A, C then B and D. AAMOF, my list goes as long as to, J, now?

If Nature vs Nurture is true, I dont think me being the youngest in a big family has anything to do with my lack of discipline in planning. My mom, having to raise 7 kids, did not screw up my planning skills. It could be because I like taking up assorted tasks just for a kick? Or, that all these years I've worked in environments where I'm required to multitask?

I am a tad baffled. And, no, dont asked me anything about Nature vs Nurture. The only thing I remembered from it is I've learnt it in Psychology 101. Let's see (making mental notes), Ok, I think I've missed out little details at G before I start working on A.

I'll be back after K.

Live to Learn

Or, learn to live? Either way, I am never the kind of individual who would turn down a lesson on learning. Be it educational, or non educational.

I have been keeping myself busy with setting up a new website. Boy, the adrenaline rush from doing that, it's indescribable! I do mean it rather literally. LOL. Kinda brought me back to college when I was that geek in pink learning programming and copying HTML codes and Javascript onto test paper - yes, it was a open-book exam (fyi: Programming subjects were never my favorite subjects and thankfully, I was one of the many who did not have to sit for the exam multiple times. Let's just say, I got it thru the first time *grin smugly*

Sure, setting up a website sounds like a piece of cake to a lot of people especially the generation born after Madonna performed 'Like a Virgin' on the MTV Music Awards. It is amazing how this woman is still recognisable and appeals to that generation. If you randomly ask one of them on the street who is Bruce Springsteen or Cher, I swear they would go, "Huh? Uncle you ... ok ah?"

But, I digress. Yes, setting up a website is not difficult but setting up a website based on my standard, man, I tell you, I am not sure where do I begin. I mean that word-for-word. I am such a fussy S*&%$&**. Sigh... So to cut the long story short, I can't tell you when I would finish no wait, be pleased with my website. When I am, this is the first place I will announce it.

Other than learning to set up a website, I am also brushing up my photography skills and yes, I am starting to give myself assignments involving models. I will start to come up with the assignments and hope to have volunteers soon. I have started to learn a lot about India, too. (Hehe ... I did mention I live to learn, no?)

Meantime, thank you very much for your support. Here is a picture that I did not post for the "Merdeka Runway" post. Have a good weekend! (I know I will *grin*)

September

It is sccary to think that we have come to the 4th and final quarter of 2008. To recap will take the entire night and I do not have the entire night (cos I am currently hooked with TVB's series, 'Moonlight Resonance'. Don't snigger this is good shit especially for someone who hasnt followed TVB series since the early 90s ... more about that in another post).

This month, September, had kicked off preetty fairly well for me here at work, at home and even amongst family and friends. There's one wedding, totally UNEXPECTED I must add, of a very close friend, one convocation (an assignment), one race - not a marathon but the AMAZING RACE ASIA (returns!), one too many inquiries at work, one sweeet suprise - not counting the wedding, God willing, that is I could finally upgrade my camera. I think it will happen before soon *grin*

Have a good day!

Fashion Forward

Just when you thought it will not be happening and should not be happening, the baggy pants aka the Hammer pants have returned. And, yes, the demise of the skinny jeans (thank God). I'm not sure I'm thrilled but from the look of it (top pic), these dudes carried it off so well, I might not mind. At least, I could have an excuse of at least owning a Hammer pants :p

And for those of you who've been visiting the fashion blogs on the blogosphere, you definitely have seen the above image of Mr. Sartorialist for Gap's latest campaign. My first thought seeing that image on screen was, Marlon Brando! Quite uncanny the resemblance, no?

Rei Kawakubo for H&M F/W 08 collection. For those not in the know, Kawakubo is the brainchild behind Comme de Garcons (CDG) - one of my fav brands :)

And speaking of CdG, I've recently fallen madly in love with their zip around wallets (unisex I heard). I do not usually change wallets if I do not need to (superstitious, yes, I can be) but when I found one that I like, I will make sure I will get it. My fav. from the lot is the Reptile Billfold in classic black.

Confession of a Mak Cik Cleaner

"Dik. Adik tu sakit lah. Boleh akak buat sekarang?"

The cleaner walked in and asked if she could clean the showroom since her pretty face colleague is on medical leave.

"Ok. Tapi biasanya, pukul empat, kan?"

"Iyer lah. Tapi." She paused for a while, brushed her face with both her hands, looking a little worn out. Poor lady must have worked very hard since she has gotten here from Indonesia.

"Tapi hari nie akak ganti dia. Boleh buat sekarang?"

"Hmm. Ok lah!"

So she started her usual cleaning which I noticed she really didn't clean the showroom as thoroughly as her colleague. While mopping the floor in the office, she started talking about her colleague.

"Adik tu sakit teruk. Entah sakit apa lah. Mah."

"Sakit cinta kot?" I joked.

"Bukan lah saya pun tak pasti. Jarang nampak dia. Tapi sekarang dia tu kurus sangat. Mah!" she sucked in her cheeks, hunched her shoulders and looked at me whilst tapping her chest indicating to me that her colleague has a weak heart.

"Oh. Tak rasa dia kurus sangat pun. Mungkin diet kot?"

"Eh. Diet buat per? Kurus sangat tak best masa main, tau!"

Gasps. Did she just say ... Yes she did. She said if a girl is too skinny, it is not "fun to play". So, I let out a laugh and winced. Still shocked from her remark - a Mak Cik I respected before. I swear she didnt blush a bit!

"Betul I cakap. Perempuan kurus kering sangat main tak best!" I thought she sorta humped a bit just to make her point clear. I was a little uncomfortable, really.

"Suami I tu, orangnya nakal! Aku nie isteri keempatnya!"

"Wahhh.... suami you tu kuat main yer!"

"Memang! Jahat sangat dia tu! Memang kuat main."

Yes, I had visuals and yes, it was not pleasant. I think when she said, 'memang kuat main', I also thought of the ad campaign for Viagra Malaysia. LOL.

Take a Bow

Today was an interesting day aside from the heavy downpour. But, I think the heavy downpour was akin to a fresh start.

The morning started with a friend who sent us a mass mail saying she has got us souvenirs from Manila and would like to pass it to us sometime soon. Prior to checking my email, I was still in slowly albeit steadily getting into gear to clear up the weekend in tray. It - the email - was a welcoming surprise. Seriously. So, we settled on a location to meet up, Of cos, I can't wait.

Before the dinner meeting tonight, I had the opportunity to speak to a few interesting people at work and one of whom is a "high profile" CEO from a company - well suited in his Zegna and Thomas Pinks. Speaking to such egocentric person can be rather irritating (to say the very least) especially when half of the time he was very much ahem, right. It went on like this ...

i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.ur wrong. i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.ur wrong. i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.i'm right.ur wrong.

Sigh. It was a delirious attempt to wrong the rights. Kinda like two weekends ago when I attempted to take over an uncle at the Siemens marathon in town - of cos, half way trying to playing catch up, I remembered what my mom said to me: It is not who you should compete with but yourself.

Yes, uncle, all dolled up in "Just Do it" gears, was in front of me at the end of the race. And, yes, so was Mr. Right. I sighed (rather silently), and took a slight bow to Mr. Right. I only wished then I could play Rihanna's Take a Bow. You know, kinda like in a movie with soundtrack.

Ohh, how about a round of applause,
Yeah, standin' ovation,
Ooh ohh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah.

[Verse 1]
You look so dumb right now,
Standin' outside my house,
Tryin' to apologize,
You’re so ugly when you cry,
Please, just cut it out.

I told my friends and we all had a good laugh. We all agreed that at this point of life, with all the turmoils around the world (and apparently more to come) we should enjoy every bit of what we have now. Screw these people, cheers to vacations!

Now, ladies and gentlemen, good night.

*Take a bow*

Carbon Foot Print

Carbon Foot Print. Just so how many of you know the meaning of Carbon Foot Print? If truth be told, I only heard of the phrase whilst watching Kimora Lee, Life on the Fabulous Lane (I think *grin*). Yes, it's all about the fabulosity. Don't ask - it's a love and hate thing with me and Ms Lee.

Carbon Foot Print, or CFP is defined by wikipedia as a "measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide".[1] It is meant to be useful for individuals and organizations to conceptualize their personal (or organizational) impact in contributing to global warming. "

Gasps.

"An alternative definition of the carbon footprint is the total amount of carbon dioxide attributable to the actions of an individual (mainly through their energy use) over a period of one year. This definition underlies the personal carbon calculators. The term owes its origins to the idea that a footprint is what has been left behind as a result of the individual's activities.

Carbon footprints can either consider only direct emissions (typically from energy used in the home and in transport, including travel by cars, airplanes, rail and other public transport), or can also include indirect emissions (including CO2 emissions as a result of goods and services consumed). Bottom-up calculations sum attributable CO2 emissions from individual actions; top-down calculations take total emissions from a country (or other low-level entity) and divide these emissions among the residents (or other participants in that entity). "

Se-ree-ious sh*ts. Even Ms Lee was taken aback when she consulted a, erm, "green guru" in LA to check on her CFP. She scored, not suprisingly, for a fashion mogul slash diva slash entrepreneur extraordinaire slash billionaire slash DQ slash slash .... 27 tonnes. An average CFP is only 7.5 tonnes for individual according to the "green guru".

Astounded and feeling miserably, she took away the green guru's mac and manipulated her score. Cheater. Daft as she might be, some say, ditzy, she went on to shop for more "green" friendly products from bedlinens, to cosmetic products to food after her consultation. Thumbs up for that, I'd say, especially for someone who loves flying on a private jet (FYI, each time she fly on a private jet, it releases the same amount of carbon dioxide as a hummer - that is, one year of a hummer on the road) . And, if it isnt for her, I wouldn't have known what is CFP.

So, I started googling for CFP and found a site that actually calculate it. And, my score ...

Cheng, cheng, cheng.....

12.293 tonnes

Gasps.

FYI,

  • The average footprint for people in United Kingdom is 9.8 tonnes.
  • The average for the industrial nations is about 11 tonnes.
  • The average worldwide carbon footprint is about 4 tonnes.
  • To combat climate change the worldwide average needs to reduce to 2 tonnes.
I think it is time that all of us, not only Ms Kimora Lee, should start to do something for the mother earth because it is ultimately the place that we are living in and that we want the future generations to continue to enjoy what our generations had.

Footnote: I hope more govt officials are aware of this and not be so anal retentive (pardon my pun) or power hungry.

God, actually

Goodbye June, May, April, March, Feb and Jan 2008.

And, Hello July.

Yes. 6 months had passed in a blink. In a blink, literally. All that had taken place in the last 6 months had been fruitful and I am happy of what I had achieved so far - blessed even. I may not be closed to God as some might say, but I know that each day if you continued to believe in yourself, God will be by your side.

I know. I'm talking about God, actually.

Fast forward to just a week before, I had this interesting conversation with, no, not God. With a friend about God, Alfie.

Alf: Someone quoted something about God today at the office.

Me: Hmmph?

Alf: Yes, I know. Hmmph, huh? It was astonishing at first how that came about but when he, my senior colleague aka DQ*, started lecturing me on sales and how to succeed like he did, err, like 20 effing years ago, I started seeing stars and somehow his face turned hairy, and I thought I saw him started scratching himself all over. And, still successfully whined on until...

Alf rolled his eyes.

Me: Hahaha... Oh, you are talking about TK. TK the DQ and the DK.

Alf: Yes, Donkey Kong slassh Drama Queen.

We laughed out loud at Old Town cafe whilst sipping our "cham" ice.

Alf continued, "Yes I was saying, until he started quoted God. He said there are individuals who are smart, articulate, hardworking but if God is not on their side, their work is not blessed. On the other hand, there are individuals who not necessary hardworking nor intelligent but if God is on their side, their work is blessed. So, Alf, life is NOT fair.

Me: What the EFF.

Alf: Yes, what the ALF! Just what does this drama queen thinks he is? Playing God now?

Alf started pretending like a chimpanzee and starting scratching himself all over.

Me: Sigh. How can he assumed that you are not blessed, right?

Alf: God, actually!

I don't usually do quotes but this one is an exception because I really agree with it ...

Sometimes you find yourself in the middle of nowhere. But sometimes, in the middle of nowhere you find yourself.

What'd you do?

What'd you do if you received a text from some unknown person on your mobile phone?

I've just received an sms from this person, X saying that he/she is X and how am I.

Baffled for a good few minutes there. Of cos, I am never one to like surprises or pranks. I hate pranks if you asked me cos I think it is plain childish. I've a MOF friend who pranked me once, I got so mad, I made him apologised profusely and sorta psychoed him, too.

So anyways, back to X. I replied asking which X are you cos I do know quite a no of X.

X replied saying he/she had met me in a party.

Whoaaaa, ok, X. This is a mistake. Clearly. For once, I hardly party - never a circuit boy, if that's what they call it. Second of all, the last event I was at, it was not even an event nor was it a party. So no way I had met someone at a party.

But, I politely asked which party?

Not only I did not get an answer, he/she went on to ask for my, get this, PICTURE!

W.T.F, rite?

So i replied, I'm sorry. I don recall knowing you n no, i'm not sending you any pic. No offence.

m just kidding only. Give me a call when u r free la. We can meet up for a tea. K? Hope to c u soon.

Err. , again no offence. I don remember anyth so don think der's any future meetings. Cheers

Yes, Cheers?! I told you I'm a polite person. But, what'd you do? Actually make an appointment to see this person? What if he turns out to look like Master Oogway?

No, then, that's kinda cute. Or, some psycho? Hmm, I'm as baffled as Po

PS: Kung Fu Panda is super! I love every bits of it.

Eat, Pray, Love

When my friend text me that petrol price will be increased yesterday, I didn't think much of it much less prepared for the absolute effect it will have on people's lives. Like, instantaneously.

I didn't think of immediately leaving office to queue at the petrol station to just fill up my half empty tank. I didn't think of the vicious cycle it will have to all the other costs directly or indirectly related to crude oil. I didn't think that to drink a cup of my favorite brew from the local (but a tad overrated, I must admit) coffee joint will become a luxury of yesterday. Literally. I didn't think that it will have an adverse effect to my live. Like, at all!

O.k. I may have been a little O.R (over-reacted) but really, I didn't think that much cos there was work. And, so I left the office at a little after 8.00pm thinking that yes, I could get on the road with as little "peak hours" traffic as possible. Prior to leaving the office, I received two missed calls from K. I returned his call.

K: "Hey what's up."

Me: "I'm queuing for petrol."

He let out a laugh I thought it was quite funny, too. Kinda like a hyena in heat laugh.

K: "I called earlier to tell you that."

Me: "But, how much? You know?"

K: "I think by 75 cents to a ringgit."

Me: "Fucking one ringgit per fucking litre? That's crazy!"

He laughed again. Tho' I seriously didnt think it was funny and I do not want to be a bitch.

K: "So. You are really in the petrol station?"

Duh.

"Yes, and I'm using my mobile while talking to you cos I am planning a suicide here."

What happened after I put down the phone and drove out to Jalan Bukit Bintang was not laughing matter. I had to detour a few routes, changed a few CDs, honked a damn lot, chewed a lot of gums, and finally reached home. A total of 1 hr 45 minutes.

Why?

Petrol hike. Yes. The entire Klang Valley was out to go to their nearest even if not their favoritest petrol kiosk to fill up. It was far out - quite like watching "The Day After Tomorrow". Our "beloved" Prime Minister said we can't subsidised for the dear "rakyat" anymore, hence, we (the beloved govt) should kill all of us. Sloooooooooowly. Especially the low income to mid income families or individuals. He also said not to worry because if you are driving a car that is 2000 cc and below, you get a yearly rebate of RM650 per annum.

Right, that is real joy. We should toast but using plain water with ice.

J just text me she was happy with her new job and said she wants to finish off her book, "Eat, Pray and Love" before she knocks off.

Yes, that is exactly what all of us here needs now. I told her.

Truly, Sweaty, Alluring

Finally. I'm back gyming after one week of non-gyming. My excuse was I needed to recover from the 15km run 2 wks before. Heh. Not only I got sick, I felt flabby like a 'sotong'.

The class I did was Body Pump in the morning - I love morning classes because the crowd is SO different from the evening crowd. More matured gentlemen and women and less 'pasar malam'. C'mon, you do agree with me that at times, the evening classes or crowd in the gym can be quite a pain in the *bleep*, no? Maybe, it's just me.

So anyways, there was a couple of aunties in the class - no, the auntie with a lot of head dress no longer does BP; I think she's been told to take it easy with her knees, so she's permanently doing yoga - some ang moh housewives and of cos, a few good men :)

There was this uncle, white hair and all, probably in his late 50s, looking super fit. Imagine muscular legs and only maybe 10% of visible fat on his body, tan and quite hip, too. Hip cos he had with him his iPod classic, yes, he was bobbing his head listening to his iPod and when he walked in late for the class walking passed me, I could smell the all too familiar Chanel's Allure.

Hmm, left a lot to my very imaginative mind why of all male fragrance he wore Chanel's Allure. And, BEFORE class commences.

How interesting, no? Interesting cos there were plenty of hot looking ahem, middle age ladies in the room exposing the cleavages and then some. Interesting, also, cos who wears perfume BEFORE working out?

Do you?

Yikes.

Some Excuse to Shop

I feel like shopping. Don't ask me what is it that I want to shop. Whatever that fancies me, I suppose? Hmm...

Skinny tie?

Err... I'm not going to the Oscar.

Just check out those clean shaven, muscular legs. Sexy-nya. I'm sure he knows; hence, the super hot pants on downtown NY.

Whatever. I know. The girl on the left looks like she just got off her bed and brought her blanky out for a walk but I'm digging the anti-establishment look. And, I love seeing girls in big flowy dress. Maybe, that is why I'm so obsessed with Angelina Jolie lately. Hmm...and NO, I am not rushing to anywhere wanting to look like them. Duh.

Frizzled hair, grey suit, nerdy glasses, and smoking. very "young woody allen". I'm buying this look but where's the wool shawl? :)

I don't know about you but this gal. Urm, guy looks pretty cool. No?

Cuffed shorts is still in.

What can I say? He gets away with wearing a silk scarf and, still look super masculine. So unfair. I think I need to plan my beach retreat soon.

Hmm, perhaps, this should be my inspiration for this Sun's biking excursion. Haha.. My friend will keel over.

She looks so cute and I want to post this up.

Lastly, uncle looks so good, I think he makes Perez Hilton looks like 2nd grade mongrel. What a bitch.
